DECATUR MAN, WELL KNOWN HERE, DIES
Father of Mrs. R. Meshberger, Died Saturday, Rites Today
Grady Alvin Light, 60, an employe
of the Schafer Wholesale company, died Saturday at 2 o'clock at his home in this ??. Death was
attributed to complications, following a stroke of apoplexy suffered two days
ago. He had been in ill health for the past two years.
Mr. Light was born in Putnam county, Ohio, August 24, 1883, the son of Amos and Mary ??den Light. He was married to Nina Swartz December 15, 1905.
The widow, ten children: Mrs. Iloe Burk, Mrs. Cosie Chase, Cleo Essex, Robert Light, Pauline Teeple, Mrs. R. E. Agler, all of Decatur; Mrs. Genevieve Meshberger of Vancouver, W., Gerald, Beatrice and Donald at home; three brothers, Forrest of Marathon, N. Y., Verne of Waseon, O., and Ray of Findlay, O. survive. One sister is deceased.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home and 2:30 o'clock at the First U. B. church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery.
