This is the smallest rural township in the northeast corner of Allen County, Harlan is a town in neighboring Springfield Township.
The Allen County Genealogical Society has a name only index to all county cemeteries through the 1980's publishing date. You may want to check the Allen County Lookup page for a volunteer willing to do lookups from the cemetery books, which are published and for sale by the Allen County Genealogical Society of Indiana.
The Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter NSDAR, National Society Daughter's of the American Revolution as part of their Allen County Indiana Cemetery Project also have an Aboite Township Cemeteries web site some with transcribed names and photographs.

Located northeast of the North Scipio United Methodist Church at 23628 State Road 37, Maysville Road, Harlan, about 0.7 miles east of the Scipio Road. Earliest date February 14, 1840. In use. NSDAR has the 1932 transcription of tombstone names. Find-A-Grave has 163 internments. IN DNR Latitude 41.2506 Longitude 84.8380 is off slightly by about 400 feet north east of Google map location.
Shell (Schell) Cemetery

Located 0.1 mile south of State Road 37, Maysville Road, on the west side of the Allen Road, on a small hill perhaps near 18150 Allen Road. Earliest date June 2, 1842. Not in use. Also known as Shull Cemetery and Sowers Cemetery. NSDAR has the 1932 transcription of tombstone names. IN DNR SHAARD lists 27 tombstones with GPS Latitude 41.2563 Longitude 84.8261 putting it on the east side of Allen Road in a cultivated field. If you know for sure where this cemetery is located please let us know.
