Mrs. Lettie Barkes Dead.

Mrs. Lettie Barkes died at the home of her son, Nelson Barkes, at 531 Second street, Monday evening at 5:45 o'clock. She was 81 years and 8 months of age. She leaves one sister, two sons and five grandchildren. Funeral services from the residence Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Dr. Alfred H. Pitkin with burial at Walesboro.
