The Republic Columbus, Indiana Thursday, January 14, 1904 Page 4 DEATH OF JOHN BOZZELL Prominent Citizen of German Township Passed Away After a Long Illness. John Bozzell died at his home one and one-quarter miles east of Taylorsville this morning, aged fifty years. He had been sick for over a year and his death was not unexpected. Mr. Bozzell was born in German township and spent his entire life there on a farm. He was a staunch republican and a member of the Old Union Christian church. His friends were distributed all over the county and he was one of the best known men in the township. Mrs. Bozzell survives her husband. The funeral will be held at Old Union Saturday morning, the remains being taken from the residence at 10 o'clock. Rev. Fred Burkett will conduct the services and burial will be in the Old Union cemetery.
