CHANDLER, George L.
Former resident of Hope, died at his residence at 114 Albion Street, San Francisco, California, 10:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 1929. He was 73. 

He left Hope for the west about 35 years ago but came back to Indiana for three or four years at time of "big earthquake".  

Surviving are his wife in California; two sons, Clem Chandler of Hope and S. Eugene Chandler of Shelbyville; a daughter Mrs. Stella Slanker of Hope; and a sister Mrs. Frank I. Rominger of Shelbyville.
