The Republic Columbus, Indiana Monday, September 2, 1901 Page 4 The Chandler Funeral The remains of the late John Chandler, who died Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Hope, were interred Sunday morning. Funeral services were conducted at 1 o'clock at the Hope Baptist church by Rev. Phillip. The deceased was eighty-three years old and died of paralysis with which he was stricken a day or two previous to his death. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alice May, of this city, and Miss Stella Chandler, of Hope; also one son, George Chandler, of Califoria.
