Louis Conrad - Louis Conrad, 57, Route 1 Nashville, died February 14 at Bartholomew County Hospital . He had been ill for two days. Conrad was born on March 19, 1920 , in Bartholomew County to Harrod and Sophia Allen Conrad. He married Muriel Rose Percifield on December 26, 1942 . She survives her husband. He was a veteran of World War II and a retired Cummins Engine Company employee. He was also a member of the Nashville Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife; his mother in Hope; a son Thomas J. Conrad, Route 8 Morgantown; a daughter, Edith Collier, Route 1 Nashville; a stepson, Robert W. Percifield, Columbus; and a stepdaughter, Lois Waltman, Route 1, Nashville. Other Survivors are five brothers, Robert, John, Everett, Elmer and Bill Conrad, all of Columbus; five sisters, Dorothy Spurgeon, Leona Newkirk, and Goldie Foley, all of Ogilville; and Elsie Lawless and Elma Jean Williams, both of Columbus; and seven grandchildren. The funeral was conducted last Thursday at the Bond Funeral Home by the Rev. Bruce Martin. Burial was in Brown County Memorial Park Cemetery.
