The Republic Columbus, Indiana Saturday, December 24, 1904 Page 1 Mrs. Forrer Dead. Mrs. Eliza Forrer, long a resident of Edinburg, died at her home on south Walnut street this forenoon, Friday, December 23, about 11 o'clock. Several weeks ago Mrs. Forrer had a stroke of paralysis while on a visit to relatives in the Mr. Auburn neighborhood. In the course of a week or a little more, she recovered sufficiently to return to her home, and until a short time ago seemed to be in her usual health, when she became sick at the stomach and was unable to digest her food, and grew weaker and more feeble until her death. She had long been a member of the Presbyterian church, and was a highly esteemed lady. Mrs. Forrer leaves four daughters namely, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Garrison, Mrs. McLain and Mrs. Richardson. The three first named were at her bedside when she died. Mrs. Richardson lives in Washington state, about 3,000 mile away, and will hardly get here to attend the funeral. Notice as to when the funeral and burial will take place will be given later on. -Edinburg Courier.
