HENRY GREEN

Henry Green, son of Seneca and Nancy Green, was born in
Pennsylvania, September 16th, 1836, and departed this life September 21st, 1912, aged seventy-six years and five days. When he was twelve years of age he with the rest of his father's family settled in Bartholomew county, Ind., where he grew to manhood, and November 18, 1860, married Jane Johnson. To this union were born seven children, four sons and three daughters, two of whom, with his wife, have preceded him to the other
world. He has lived in Washington township, Shelby county, since 1889, and has many friends here. He died at the home of his son John in Columbus, Ind. The funeral services were held at Lewis Creek church and
burial at Winchester cemetery.
