Little Halford, the one year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Phillips, died at the home of his parents, at Becks Grove, at 6 o'clock Friday night. The deceased was afflicted with lung fever last summer, but he recovered and was apparently in excellent health until a short time before his death when he became ill and died rather suddenly. The deceased is a nephew of ex-Sheriff John W. Phillips and he and Mrs. Phillips left for Becks Grove this afternoon to be present at the funeral and interment, which will occur at 10 o'clock to0morrow morning.
