The Republic Columbus, Indiana January 19, 1904 Tuesday Page 8 ANOTHER PIONEER IS GONE Isaac Hendrickson Dead At Taylorsville After Living Sixty Years in County. The passing of another pioneer is reported from Taylorsville today in the death of Isaac Hendrickson, which occurred there at 10:30 o'clock this morning. Mr. Hendrickson had been sick for over a year but was not confined to his bed until about two months ago. Owing to his extreme age he was unable to bear up and the end finally came today. Isaac Hendrickson was eighty years old. He was born in Kentucky and came to this state and county when a young man. Almost sixty years of his life have been spent in Bartholomew county, where he was engaged as a farmer until he grew too old to do any active work. A wife and one son, William, survive. The funeral will be announced later. D. O. Coy. Burial will be at Edinburg.
