The Republic Columbus, Indiana Tuesday, September 13, 1904 Page 5 Amos Hoak. Amos Hoak, an uncle of Dr. J. W. Arnold, of this city, died at his home in Danville yesterday, aged about seventy years. He will be buried in Pittsboro. Mrs. Emma McLeod left on the 12:30 o'clock car to-day to attend the funeral and Dr. Arnold and Mrs. C. D. Brewer will leave in the morning for the same purpose. Dr. Arnold will return to-morrow night. Mr. Hoak was a well known republican politician of Hendricks county and was here about three year ago taking medical treatment.
