The Republic Columbus, Indiana Monday, October 28, 1901 Page 4 An Untimely Death An especially sad death was that of Miss Carrie M. Knarr, who died Sunday evening shortly after 7 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Knarr, 1220 east Seventh street. She was thirteen years old on the 12th of last March, and death was caused by an attack of typhoid pneumonia, with which she had been sick twof weeks. She was a very brith little girl and it seems a pity that she was called away. She was a student in the eighth grade at the Central school and would have finished her grade work at the end of the present term. Carrie M. Knarr was born in Decatur county near Greensburg, and came here with her parents when she was three years old. Funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the family home, conducted by Rev. G.D. Wolfe, pastor of the M.E. church. Burial in city cemetery.
