The Columbus Republican Columbus, Indiana Friday, November 1, 1895 Page 4 South Bethany The funeral of John Loy here Monday was well attended, the services being conducted by Elder W.D. Clark, of Ogilville. He died of typhoid fever at the home of his father, Levi Loy, at Whittington, Saturday, Oct. 26, aged 29 years, 5 months and 26 days. He contracted the disease while away at work, dying eight days after his return home. He was kind, industrious, a consistent member of the Christian church and will be missed in the family circle and elsewhere.
