The Republic Columbus, Indiana Monday, December 2, 1901 Page 4 Reason Martin, aged thirty-nine years, died Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of his widowed mother in Elizabethtown. He had been ill for about two weeks. His illness started by the accidental taking of some chloral. He afterward was attacked with yellow jaundice and trypoid fever, the latter being the direct cause of his death. He laves, besides his mother, four brothers and one sister. Funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial in Springer cemetery.
