Died August 15, 1892, near the place of her birth, aged fifty-seven years, nine months and eighteen days. Was married to Augustus Miller, October 15, 1862, which union was blessed with one son and two daughters. She leaves her husband, two daughters and one grand-daughter to mourn their loss, the son having died in infancy. She of a lovely, cheerful disposition, ever careful to cause no trouble to any one, always striving to make all happy around her. And while for reasons of her own, she never united with the church of her chice (the Sharon Baptist church), yet her daily walk, conversation and teaching proved her to be a devoted Christian, having said, when talking about the future life, that she had no fears except the pain of death; and during her sickness, when spoken to about baptism, she said she was perfectly satisfied the way it was. During her last sickness of thirty-one weeks she bore it with patience and resignation, never murmuring or complaining, but patiently waiting the call of her Master, dying in full assurance of a blessed immortality.
