George Earl Perry 1920 - 2005   Published in the Lexington Herald-Leader (Lexington, Fayette Co, KY) on September 24 - 25, 2005 Perry, George Earl, 85, husband of Norma H. Brandenburg Perry, died Sat. Sept. 23, 2005. Born in North Vernon, IN, he was a son of the late George Earl and Kathryn Brooks Perry. He retired as Production Foreman at the GE Lamp Plant after 34 years of service, was a member of Hunter Presbyterian Church, the National Rifle Association and loved the outdoors, whether hunting or gardening. He also served as a pilot with the Army Air Corp during WW II. In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by a sister and two brothers, Wanda Toomey, Lexington, Alwyn (Abbie) Perry Sr, Lexington and Louis Perry, Ormond Beach, FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Tues. at W.R. Milward Mortuary-Southland. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County. Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9 PM Mon.
