William Pumphrey
 
Born August 11, 1888 near Hope, son of Cyrus Pumphrey. He entered service July 20, 1918 in W. W. I.) Died Camp Taylor, Kentucky of "flu", age 30. He was the son of Mrs. Mary E. Jewell Pumphrey, northeast of Hope. Funeral service was Thursday with burial at Hope.
