Sutherland, 92, a resident of Waymansville most of her life, died at 9:27 o'clock this morning at her home. In ill health for several years, she had been critically illl since November. Funeral services will be at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Mr. Healthy Methodist church conducted by the Rev. Jewel Dewees. Burial will be at the Mt. Healthy cemetery. Casket will be open at the Reed funeral home after noon Sunday and open at the church from 12:45 o'clock Monday afternoon until time of services. Born Dec. 21, 1870, in Brown County, she was the daughter of Jacob and Debbie Ping Hovis. Her husband, William, preceded her in death. Mrs. Sutherland was a member of the Mt. Healthy church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hampton Menix and Mrs. Glenn Jones, both of Route 8; two grandchildren, Mrs. Eugene Poland of Route 7 and Carl C. Jone of Route 8; one brother, George Hovis of Lacon, Ill; five great-granddchildren and several nieces and nephews.
