The Republic Columbus, Indiana October 31, 1904 Monday Page 4 WELL KNOWN MAN DEAD William Swank, a Life Long Democrat and Highly Respected Citizen, is Dead. William Swank died in his home in Ogilville this morning at 12:40 o'clock, of consumption, aged sixty years. He was well known throughout the county, especially that part where he spent most of his life. He was a life long democrat. He leaves four sons and two daughters, Adam, Frank, Ralph and Charles, Mrs. Alva Smith and Miss Maud. Two brothers, John and Jacob, and one sister, Mrs. Charles Billings, of Missouri, survive. The funeral will be held at St. Paul Tuesday, conducted by Elder H. H. Nesslage. Burial will be in the St. Paul cemetery.
