Cornelius Strahm

Dunkirk, Mar. 29.--- Cornelius Strahm, 52, superintendent of the city waterworks for the past 17 years, died at 2:30 pm today at Ball Memorial Hospital at Muncie. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Leona Strahm; two sons, Roy Strahm of near Dunkirk and Robert Strahm at home; one daughter, Betty Mae Strahm at home; his father, Jonah Strahm of Berne; six brothers, Melvin Strahm of North Dakota, Selvan Strahm of Decatur, Halvin Strahm of Bluffton, Louis Strahm of Berne, Leo Strahm of Monroe and Edward Strahm of Fort Wayne and two sisters, Mrs. Golda Rich of Berne and Mrs. Dave Haggard of Monroe.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 pm at the Dunkirk United Brethren Church with Rev. Russell Hiatt officiating. Burial will be in the Dunkirk I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Robert "Bob" W. Smith

Robert "Bob" W. Smith, 60, formerly of Central Indiana before moving to Imperial, MO passed away at 8:30 AM on Sunday, June 01, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO. He was born on Wednesday, July 01, 1953, in Marion, IN. He married Cindy Stewart on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in Hartford City, IN. Bob was a 1971 graduate of Marion High School and a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana with an LPN degree. Bob, alongside of his wife, were owners and operators of Respiratory Services & Solutions based out of Imperial, MO for several years. He enjoyed playing the guitar, reading, cooking and fishing. Bob attended the Nazarene Church of South County in St. Louis.

Survivors include: Wife - Cindy Smith, Imperial, MO., Son - Benjamin Russell (Wife, Jessi Lynn) Smith, Hartford City, IN., Granddaughter - Blakely Rose Smith, Hartford City, IN., Brother - James R. (Wife, Mary) Smith, Phoenix, AZ., Sister - Carolyn (Husband, John) Watkins , Montpelier, IN., Sister-in-law - Christina Justice, Michigan, Father & Mother In Law - Roy & Dorothy Stewart, Hartford City, IN., 5 Nephews and 4 Nieces.

He was preceded in death by his Parents: James W. & Jane (Hornbaker) Smith.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Thursday, June 05, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A service to celebrate Bob's life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 06, 2014 with Pastor Rich Hadley officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Greenlawn Cemetery in Hartford City.

Preferred memorials: American Heart Association 6100 West 96th St. Suite#200 Indianapolis, IN 46278-6005 OR American Cancer Society 5635 W. 96th Street Indianapolis, IN 46278.

Ora Schwartzkopf

Montpelier------- The Rev. Philip William and the Rev. Mildred Whetsel will officiate at services for Mrs. Ora Schwartzkopf, 81, at 2 p.m.today in Montpelier Methodist Church. She died Thursday.
