Browning Mountain is a high hill near the the ghost town of
Elkinsville which was abandoned
when Lake Monroe was established. At the top of Browning Mountain are a series of flat non-local stones.
The Miami Indians return to
this location periodically for ceremonies. This might be an
American Stonehenge.
