John Hull
I am searching for information on my great-grandfather, John Hull. He died on 19 June 1915 in Ockley. His death certificate is recorded at Delphi, Book H-16, page 22. It is not of much use for genealogical purposes as it gives no usable infomation on the names of his parents. So, I have been wondering if an obituary appeared in the Carroll County Citizen Times. I ask specifically about that newspaper because John Hull's wife, Sarah Underhill Hull, died the previous year on 9 February 1914. In her case there was an obituary in the Carroll County Citizen Times that appeared on 14 February 1914. I thought that perhaps John Hull's obituary would appear in the same newspaper. I would like to get the full text of any obituary that might have appeared in any newspaper about the death of this ancestor of mine. I am particularly interested in the names of his parents or anything about his past. I know that he did fight in the Civil War in the 16th Indiana Battery, so it seems like that would warrant some kind of recognition in an obituary or death notice in the newspaper.
