CLARK COUNTY
CEMETERY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
MEETING SCHEDULE
The Clark County Cemetery Preservation Committee ("CCCPC") meets on the first Saturday of each month. The meetings are migratory, moving from township to township each month, in the hope of getting more local individuals involved as we move to these locations.  Following each meeting, we tour several pioneer cemeteries in the Township.

We devote a portion of each meeting to one of the 12 Townships each month. The different townships are featured in alphabetic order. The term "focus"  indicates, for instance, that in March, we have a special report on the names, location and condition of the cemeteries in that township.

After each meeting, we drive to two or three cemeteries in the Township where the meeting is held.  Weather permitting, we stop at these cemeteries and conduct brief walking tours.

The fact that we intend to "focus" on specific townships at these meetings does NOT mean that we will only be discussing cemeteries in that township. The status, identification, preservation, protection and restoration plans for cemeteries throughout Clark County will be reviewed at every meeting.

If you need additional information on any of these meetings or the work of the CCCPC, feel free to contact Lois Mauk at LoisMauk@usa.net or by phone at 812-282-6492.
