This cemetery is located at the New Market Presbyterian Church on New Market-New Washington Road. This site is mistakenly referred to in the Hoosier Journal of Ancestry's Clark County Cemeteries publication as "New Market Presbyterian Church Cemetery".
I am assured by LuAnn Staley of Oregon Township that the correct name for this site is Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church Cemetery; however, "New Market" is the name on the weathered old sign on the front of the church.
The cemetery is located diagonally across the road from New Market Christian Church and Cemetery, in the southeast corner of Grant 195 on New Market Road.
The church here is no longer active, but there are probably over 200 burials here. Though I do not have an index for this site on-line, a row-by-row index done back in the 1980s is available in the Clark County Cemeteries publication of the Hoosier Journal of Ancestry.
