John Addison Neal & Family
John Addison Neal born June 22, 1860, Lewis Township, Clay County, IN. He was
the son of Rev. John and Elizabeth Love Neal early settlers of the region.
 He was a carpenter and farmer.  He was often requested to build coffins as
his father  had before him.  There were few undertakers at that time in the
area.  He married Sarah Viola Stoops McDonald (born March 10, 1865) in
Perry Township, Clay County, IN on February 21, 1895.  They were parents to
Harry McDonald ( Viola's son from first marriage), Ollie, Capitola"Cap", Lucy
and Ruel Michael "Mike".  Viola never got over the death of John in 1928.
 She was a gentle, loving Mother and Grandmother.  Died on April 5,1938.

Mike remained in Jasonville and owned and operated the Texaco Service Station
over 50 years.
