Eldest of Allison Brothers Died Today
Franklin Allison, 84, lifelong resident of Veale Township, died at his home at 3:45 a.m. today. He had been ill for the past six months.
Mr. Allison was born March 11, 1869 in Veale Township, the son of William A. and Elizabeth Carroll Allison. He married Onie Faith (sic) on December 15, 1915 and she survives.
Mr. Allison was a former breeder of Shorthorn cattle. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. A son, Odgon K. Allison preceded him in death in 1946. Survivors besides his wife include a brother, George B. Allison, and a sister, Miss Emma D. Allison, both of Veale Township. Six brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Gill Funeral Home with the Rev. T. B. Avery, assisted by Rev. Clyde Wake, in charge. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at Gill after 7 o'clock this evening to pay respects

NOTE: Other records show the wife's maiden name to be Keith.
