Death Takes Mrs. Allison
Mrs. Onie Allison, 81, Rural Route 2, city, died today at 2:35 a.m. at the Daviess County Hospital after a serious illness of five weeks. She had been in fading health for several years.
Mrs. Allison was born in Knox County near Edwardsport, October 7, 1875, the daughter of Isaac N. and Mary Jane Alexander Keith. She came to Daviess County when a young girl and attended Washington Township schools. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church.
December 15, 1905, she married Franklin (Frank) Allison and he preceded her in death November 20, 1953.
The deceased's only child, a son, also preceded her in death in November, 1946. His name was Odgon K. Allison.
Survivors include three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Ella Banta, city; Mrs. Emma Patterson, Bogard Township; Mrs. George (Myra) Allison, Veale Township and Thomas Keith of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
There are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Gill Funeral Home with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Rev. V. N. Suddarth will officiate.
