Delpha Edwards Bennington

Mrs. Delpha Bennington, 88, died at her home at 1:20AM today. Funeral
services will be at 2PM EST Thursday at the Nass & Son Funeral Home
in Huntingburg with Bros. Lowry Sutherland and Richard Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in the Plainville Cemetery. Friends may call
after 2PM Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born June 23, 1903
in Daviess County to Henry and Zella (Clinton) Edwards. She married
Floyd E. Bennington on June 17, 1922 and he survives. She was a member
of the Plainville Christian Church. Surviving are her husband and two
sons, Philip Bennington, Washington, Donald Bennington, Brockton, Mass.,
11 grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren,
six step great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, seven sisters
and one brother, Mrs Edna Bordenet, Indianapolis, Mrs. Ruth Bratton,
Owensboro, Ky., Mrs. Gladys Cornelius, Mrs. Pearl Bennett, Mrs. Ava
Dougherty, Wilford Edwards, all of Plainville, Mrs. Helen Cornelius
and Mrs. Lucille Adams, both of Washington. Two daughters, Patricia
Wuertz and Leota Bennington, one brother and one sister, Chester Edwards
and Gusta Kinnett, have died.
