Verna M. Sellers Berry

Mrs. Verna Mae Berry, 73, Portersville Road, died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital. She had been ill four weeks and seriously ill the past two weeks.
She was born Sept 14, 1904, in Greene county, daughter of Stanley and Laura (Allen) Sellers, and attended Greene county schools.
On March 23, 1934, she married John F. Berry and he survives.
Mrs. Berry was a member of Central Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star.
Others surviving are one son, John F. Berry Jr, Columbus, OH; three daughters, Mrs. Leland (Estel) Schnarr, Pennyville, Mrs. Roscoe (Mary) Shelton, Washington, and Mrs. Marvin (Bertha) Harker, Chandler, IN; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two brothers, Lowell Sellers and Charles Sellers, both of Elnora.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Gill Chapel with Pastor Herbert Gillen officiating. Burial will be in Veale Creek cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
