Brian Funeral Set for Tuesday

Mrs. Clara Jane Brian, age 82, 301 Lemon, died at 11:45 a.m. today at the Daviess County hospital following an illness of six days. Mrs. Brian was born August 8, 1883, in Reeve Township, the daughter of Frank and Edna (Armes) Cullivan. She first married Sherman Potts and he preceded her in death. Her second husband, Charles Brian, is also dead. She was a member of the Trinity Gospel Tabernacle.
Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Chester (Bessie) Kellams, Terre Haute, Mrs. Ruby B. Nail, Mrs. Gladys L. Alford and Mrs. Erma N. Dodson, all of Washington; two step-sons, August Brian, Louisville, KY; John Brian, Cincinnati, OH; a half brother, Jack Eskew, and a half sister, Mrs. Joseph (Pearl) Bailey, both of this city. There are 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Gill Chapel with Rev. Ryburn Ray in charge. Interment will be in Oak Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday.
