Nellie Mae Campbell

Nellie Mae Campbell, 84, 2008 West Walnut passed away at her residence this morning at 9 o'clock after a six-week illness. Mrs. Campbell, a native of Indianapolis, moved here 55 years ago. She married Loranzo L. Campbell on August 10, 1889 and he died April- 15,1949. Surviving are five children, Ralph Campbell, and Mrs. Harold (Catherine) Sargent, both of this city, Mrs. Luther (Irma) Wood, Veale Township. Rev. Loren Campbell, South Bond, Ind., and Bruce Campbell LaGuna Beach, Calif. One son died in. infancy. In addition she leaves 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers E. G. Hofer Newport Beach, Calif., and Otto Hofer, Indianapolis and a sister Anne Caffee, of Terre Haute. Mrs. Campbell was a member Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday at, 2 p.m. in the Gill funeral home With the Rev Eugene Brown in charge. Friends may call at the Gill chapel after Tuesday noon.
