Daniel K. Chambers

Daniel Chambers, Retired Farmer Passed Away Sunday
Daniel Chambers, aged 71 years, died at his home at one o'clock last
Sunday afternoon. Although failing in health for several months, Mr.
Chambers had never been seriously ill and his death came as a great
shock to many friends and relatives. The deceased man was born near
Burns city April 25, 1859, a son of James and Prudence Chambers. He
spent practically all his life in the vicinity of Elnora. He had served
as a member of the Town Council and as marshal. In 1887 Mr. chambers
was married to Margaret Goodman. The widow and following children survive:
Mrs. Bertha Boyer of Freedom; Mrs. Pearl Effinger of Terre Haute and
Max and Walter of elnora. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning
at ten o'clock at the Christian church in Elnora with Rev. A. C. Spellman
officiating. Burial was made in Fairview cemetery.
