COLVIN FUNERAL SET FOR TUESDAY
Mrs. Ellen COLVIN, 91, 905 E. Main St., lifelong resident of Daviess county, died at 3:20 p.m. Saturday at the Daviess County Hospital. She was in failing health for the past year and seriously ill one week. Born February 27, 1879, Mrs. COLVIN was a daughter of Michael and Mary Jane (HEDRICK) CULLIVAN. She was educated in Daviess county schools and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Her husband, Thomas B. COLVIN, whom she married in 1900, preceded her in death May 2, 1944. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Maudie RUSSELL, Washington; Mrs. J. A. (Katie) GALLAGHER, Montgomery Rt 2; and Mrs. Clyde (Marie) WILLIAMS, Indianapolis; four sons, Cletus and Roy COLVIN, both of Washington; Ernie COLVIN, Loogootee, and James COLVIN, Fairfield, IL; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Louis (Josephine) SHELTON, Washington; two brothers, Walter CULLIVAN, Washington, and Edward CULLIVAN, Evansville. Two sisters and a brother are deceased. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, with interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lee and York Mortuary. The rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. today.
