MRS. IDA ENNIS TAKEN BY DEATH HERE YESTERDAY
Funeral Will be Held at U.B. Church Friday Afternoon.
Mrs. Ida May Ennis, aged 54 years, wife of Bert Ennis of 702 S. W. First street died at 5:40 o'clock Wednesday evening after a serious illness of six weeks
Mrs. Ennis was taken ill less than two months ago and had been seriously ill all the time. A complication of ailments was given as the cause of her death.
Born in Daviess county, Mrs. Ennis had spent practically all her life here. She was a daughter of John W. tucker and was married on July 23, 1902 to Bert Ennis who survives. She was a member of the United Brethren church, the Pythian Sisters and was _____in Veal township.
There are no surviving children. Brothers and sisters surviving are Weaver Tucker of Thebes, Ill, Dan Tucker of Washington, Mrs. Charles Homer of Princeton and a half-sister Mrs. Pat Kelly of Washington.
Funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the United Brethren church, with burial following in Oak Grove cemetery. Elwood Williams will be in charge of the funeral.
Mrs. Susie Tucker, mother of Mrs. Ennis, also survives. She made her home with the daughter.
Phthian Sisters will meet at the home of Mrs. Ennis at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon to attend the funeral.
