Lolan (Skinny) Hedrick

Lolan (Skinny) Hedrick, 67, Cannelburg Rt 1, died at 2:20 p.m. Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born Feb 7, 1907 in Reeve township and was a lifetime resident of the community and a member of the Christian Church at Alfordsville. He was employed at Jasper Wood Products Co. He married Helen Frazo May 31, 1927 and she survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edith Trayler and Mrs. John (June) Baugh, both of Washington, Mrs. Gerald (Ruth) Taylor, Seymour, and Mrs. Cora Harris, Cannelburg; six sons, Robert Hedrick, Bloomington, Roy and James Hedrick, both of Bedford, Donald, William and Lolan Hedrick Jr, all of Washington; 34 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. One daughter died in infancy. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the V.L. Poindexter Funeral Home with J. Spencer Arnold as minister and burial in Oak Grove Cemetery of Reeve township. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
