Sarah Hinton Passes Away at Montgomery - Widow of Maurice Hinton Will be Buried Tuesday Afternoon at Mt. Olive.

Mrs. Sarah Alice Hinton, widow of Maurice Hinton, died Sunday morning at 8:55 at her home in Montgomery.  She was 65 years old.  Ill for about a year, Mrs. Hinton’s condition had become serious about two weeks ago.

She was born in Martin County on September 13, 1889, the daughter of James and Jane (Davidson) Nail. On June 10, 1924, she married Mr. Hinton who died 15 years ago.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Charles Grove of Montgomery, two stepchildren, Mrs. Emma Pettigrew of Montgomery and Curt Hinton of Indianapolis, a sister, Mrs. Dora Millen of Indianapolis, and a brother, George Nail of Vincennes.  Three half brothers are deceased.  There are four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 o’clock at the residence with burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Barr Township, Rev.Youngblood in charge. Friends may call at the home where the body was removed after preparation at the V.L. Poindexter Funeral Home.
