MRS. GEORGE KRAMER DIED EARLY TODAY
Mrs. George (Theresa) Kramer, age 88 302 Dewey Avenue, city died at 7:35 a.m. today at the Myers Nursing Home. Cause of death was reported as complications. She had been ill for the part five years. Mrs Kramer was born in Jasper, Indiana, December 8, 1873, the daughter of the late John & Amelia Deischenger Miller. She married George Kramer on January 24, 1893, & he preceded her in death on June 22, 1950. She was a member of the St. Marys Catholic church, charter member Auxiliary Knights of St. John, St Mary's Altar Society & the Legion of Mary. She came to this community in 1880 & was educated in Jasper & St. Marys schools. Two daughters, Mrs Harry (Mary) Bassler & Mrs.Barbara (Poolitsan) Kramer, both of this city,survive. One son has processed her in death. There are eight grandchildren & four great-grandchildren & four great-great-grandchildren. She was the last of her family. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the St. Marys church with burial in the St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lee & York Funeral Home after 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Ladies Auxiliary, Knights of St. John memorial services at 7:30 a.m. Sunday & the Altar Society will pray the Rosary.
