PNEUMONIA TAKES ABRAHAM MILLER
Abraham Miller, 70, Veale township farmer living on Washington route two, died at his home at 4:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon following an illness from pneumonia.
Mr. Miller had been ill for the last ten days. He was seriously ill the first few days and then showed improvement. A weakened heart condition caused his death.
A native of Greene county, Mr. Miller was born April 14, 1869 at Bloomfield. He was the son of Andrew and Suzanne (Neidigh) Miller, his father a native of Germany and his mother of Greene county. He came to Daviess county 20 years ago.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Maggie (Calloway) Miller, whom he married September 3, 1902 and four children: Orville Miller, Bloomington; Chester and Galend Miller, of Washington and Kenneth Miller, at home. One child Roscoe is dead. He leaves six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Emma Asdel of Newberry.
The body will remain at the Gill funeral chapel until the hour of the funeral.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Gill chapel with the Rev. T. L. Rogers officiating and burial in Oak Grove cemetery.
