Mayme Mullinax

Mayme Mullinax, formerly of 601 Smoot Ave., died at 6:10PM Thursday at the Daviess County Hospital. Mrs. Mullinax, 92, had been ill for several weeks. She was born Dec. 25, 1889 to John and Minnie Campton and spent most of her life in Daviess County and was educated in local schools. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Washington. She married W.H. Williams and he died in 1941. On Nov. 10, 1951, she married John H. Mullinax, and he died in 1967. Survivors include nephew James Campton, Washington. Services will be conducted at 10AM Saturday at St. Mary's Church and burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ed Lee Mortuary after 5PM today, and a wake service will begin tonight at 7PM.
