DOROTHY NOLLEY
CANNELBURG--Mrs. Dorothy Irene Nolley, 78, died in the extended care unit of the Daviess County Hospital at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday. She had been seriously ill since February.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Peters Church, Montgomery with the Rev. Joseph Clauss officiating . Interment will be in St. Peters Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the Ed Lee Mortuary. A Christian wake service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1910 in Daviess County to Claude and Maude Sloan Mowery. She married Donald W. Nolley April 27, 1935 and he survives. She was a Reliance Manufacturing employee. She retired from Uniroyal after 25 years service in 1972.
Surviving are her husband and one son, William J. Nolley, Washington, Ind., five grandchildren, one brother and one sister, Rev. B.E. Mowery, Caney Kan. and Mrs. Joseph (Betty) Lemon, Orlando, Fla. Four brothers and two sisters, Laura Padgett, Marie Herschel, Cecil, Harold and Norwood Mowery are deceased.
