Jacob Harvey Nolley

DEATH TAKES H. J. NOLLEY
Harvey J. Nolley, 81 passed away at his residence on the Corning Road, in Barr Township, at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. He had been in failing health for three years and seriously ill for the last three weeks. He was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church, in Montgomery, and a retired farmer.
Mr. Nolley was born in Daviess County, September 18, 1877, the son of the late William and Miranda (Sapp) Nolley. His first wife, Margaret Ellen Benningfield, preceded him in death in 1909. On may 5 1914 he married Catherine Elizabeth Ash, who survives. The deceased was educated in the Daviess County Schools.
Surviving children are: Gilbert, Arlan and James Nolley, R. 2, Montgomery; Donald Nolley, Cannelburg; Mrs. Victor (Cleo) Queen, Wabash, Ind.; Mrs. Don (Kathleen) Livingston and Richard Nolley, both of this city. Three children are deceased. There are 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Oscar Nolley, of Indianapolis, is the only surviving brother. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the St. Peter's Catholic Church, in Montgomery, with burial in the St. Peter's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Lee and York Chapel after 7 p.m. today.
