Eva May Perkins, Montgomery, Dies
Mrs. Eva May Perkins, age 68, Route 2, Montgomery, died Wednesday at 2:15 p.m. in the Daviess County Hospital. She had been ill for several years and seriously ill for the past few weeks. Mrs. Perkins was born April 16, 1898 in Harrison Township, the daughter of John H. and Laura (Schircliff) Graham. She was married October 3, 1915 to Gleetus Perkins, who survives. Mrs. Perkins was a member of the Church of Christ in Waco. Besides her husband, she leaves two children, Bellamy Perkins, Toledo, Ohio and Reuben Perkns, Elkart, Indiana. One son died in infancy. Two sisters survie, Mrs. Charles (Rose) Brittain and Mrs. Preston (Mary) Peachee, both of Washington. She also leaves four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the V. L. Poindexter Funeral Home with Brother Harold E. Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight.
