Maudie Armes Potts

Mrs. Maudie A. Potts, 69, 4 Belle Terre Dr, died at her home at noon Friday. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Gill Chapel with Bro. Ben Ray Bean officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Reeve Township. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. She was born May 23, 1916, in Daviess County to Sherman and Goldie Davenport Armes. She married Raymond L. Potts July 14, 1934 and he survives. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church. Surviving are her husband and one daughter and two sons, Mrs. John (Martha) Johnson, Subic Bay, Philippines, Raymond E. Potts, Marine, IL, and Larry D. Potts, Louisville, KY, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, one sister and two brothers, Mrs. George (Ruth) Young, Indianapolis, and Herbert and Hobart Armes, both of this city. Two sisters and two brothers have died.
