Ralph F. Potts

Ralph F. POTTS, 68, Cowan, IN, died in the Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie at 3 p.m. Saturday following a one week illness. Born in Washington, on Aug 13, 1910, he was the son of Thomas J. and Charlotte (HELLER) POTTS. He married the former Pearl BINGHAM in August of 1929, and she died Nov 14, 1977. He had retired from the Muncie Chevrolet plant after 33 years. Educated in the Washington schools, he left Washington in 1939 to live at Cowan. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth, Brighton, MI; Harry, Gaston, IN; a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte SATTERFIELD, Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Charles M. (Glenn) LEE, Washington, also survives. A son, Francis, a brother, Hallie, and a sister, Louella, have died. The funeral will be at the Ed Lee Mortuary Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Oak Grove cemetery in Reeve Twonship with the Rev. Kendall Sands officiating. Friends may call after 1 p.m. today.
