Taylor F. Potts Dies Here Today
Taylor F. Potts, age 78. died suddenly at 2:15 a.m. today at the Bynum Nursing Home located at 1801 McCormick Ave., City. He had been ill for the past two months.
Mr. Potts was born in Reeve Township 78 years ago, the son of the late Benjamin F. and Julia A. (Godwin) Potts. He was a retired B&O Railroad Carman.
He was a member of the Central Christian Church and was educated in the Reeve Township Schools.
Two sons, Oscar and Victor Potts, both of Anaheim, CA, survive. There are three grandchildren.
He was the last of his family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Gill Funeral Home with Rev. Meyer A. Madsen officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Reeve Township.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:00 p.m. Friday.
