Bridget Kane Rodimel

Mrs. Bridget C. Rodimel, 88, 406 W. Flora St., died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday at the Daviess County Hospital following an illness of one year. Mrs. Rodimel had been seriously ill one month.
She was born in Daviess County Aug 22, 1889, to John F. and Mary (Kinsella) Kane. She and Walter A. Rodimel were married Sept. 21, 1909 and he died Nov 25, 1964.
Mrs. Rodimel was a member of St. Simon's Church and the ladies Auxiliary to the Knights of St. John. She was educated in Daviess County schools and was a lifetime resident of Daviess County.
She leaves three daughters and three sons, Charles W. Rodimel, Arthur W. Rodimel, Mrs. Bernard (Betty) Larkin, Alvin T. Rodimel, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Borders, all of this city, and Mrs. Robert (Marie) Miller of Huntington; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and a half sister, Mrs. Charles Nalean, Ogden, Iowa. One son, John, one daughter, Laverne, three sisters and three brothers are deceased.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Simon's Church with interment in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ed Lee Mortuary after 1 p.m. Tuesday. Members of St. Simon's [parish and friends will pray a rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday and the Ladies Auxiliary to the Knights of St. John will hold a memorial service following the rosary.
