Aged Citizen Dead
Isaac Salyards Passes To His Reward At The Age of Seventy-Six.
Isaac Salyards, who has been in feeble health for several months died Friday at his home three miles south of town.
Mr. Salyards had lived near Odon for several years and was well-known to the people as an excellent citizen. His son, Enoch Salyards of BlackHawk and his daughter, Mrs. Walter Johnson of Indianapolis, both formerly lived in Odon. He leaves an aged wife and three children.
The funeral services were held Saturday, Rev. D. P. McCoy in charge. Burial was made at Walnut Hill cemetery.
