Clyde Warren Schnarr, 69, 1516 JanAnn Court, Washington, Indiana, died unexpectedly Monday at 1 a.m. in Cordele, Georgia while enroute home from Florida. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Christian Church with Bros. David Deal, Bob Collier and Ben Ray Bean officiating. Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery. The Masonic Lodge will accod honors at graveside. Friends may call at the Gill Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. He was born December 12, 1920 in Daviess County to Philip and Leona Smith Schnarr. He married Nina Gregory September 2, 1939 and she died October 9, 1987. He married Merle Badinger Januray 7, 1989 and she survives. He was a retired farmer. He was a graduate of Alfordsville High School in 1939 and attended the Montgomery Christian Church. He was past president of the Montgomery Ruritan Club and was past master of Glendale Lodge No. 464 F. & A.M. He was a member of the Eastern Star No. 210 of Washington, Scottish Rite in Evansville and Washington Conservation Club. He was an honorary member of the Loogootee and Indian Rock Camping Club. Surviving are his wife and two daughters and one son, Mrs. Mike (Pat) Haworth and Homer Schnarr, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Jim (Darla) Truelove, Montgomery, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, two stepdaughters and one stepson: Mrs. John (Judy) Vargo, Escanaba, Michigan, Mrs. Paul (Dianne) Hewitt, Temple, Texas, and Robert Potts, Memphis, Tennessee, four step-grandchidlren and three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Gress, Mrs. Lee (Ruth) Kail and Mrs. John (Dorothy) Essig, all of Washington, Indiana. One brother, Leland Schnarr has died. (March 19, 1990)
