SHELTON RITES TO BE MONDAY
Mrs. Goldie Hedrick Shelton, 77, 612 W. Fifth Street, died at 6 a.m. today at the Daviess County Hospital. She had been seriously ill two weeks. Mrs. Shelton was born July 28, 1891, in Alfordsville, a daughter of George and Ida (Perkins) Hedrick. On July 3, 1910 she married Edmond Shelton who survives. Mrs. Shelton was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church and the War Mothers Club. Besides her husband, she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Earl (Dimple) Kelso, Indianapolis; one son, Roscoe Shelton, Washington, and four grandchildren. One daughter, Sylvia May Shelton, preceded her in death. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the V.L. Poindexter Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Hawkins officiating and burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Reeve township. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
